Ambassador Programme

'Besides the physical health benefits, it is about showing care and compassion
in a way that makes people feel seen, heard and special'.

Support That Goes Beyond Policy

It’s the small, human moments—offering calmness, listening deeply, extending a hand—that can create real, lasting impact.

Our Ambassador Programme is a practical, experiential training day for those supporting the emotional wellbeing of others.
It’s tailored for:
  • Healthcare professionals and care staff
  • Mental Health First Aiders & Wellbeing Champions
  • Anyone interested in bringing more connection, wellbeing and joy to their clients and service users
Whether you’re holding space for colleagues, supporting clients in distress or offering compassionate care this
programme gives you the tools to make a grounded, gentle, sometimes profoundly transformative, connection.

What the Day Covers

The Energy of Gentleness
Gentleness is not softness—it’s strength wrapped in peace.
We explore how gentleness soothes the nervous system, reduces reactivity, and builds emotional safety—for yourself and those around you.
Listening with Presence
How to listen without judgement, to know when to hold space, and when to signpost. These are the skills that deepen trust and connection.
The Power of Positive Touch
The emotional and physiological benefits of caring touch.
How to offer a simple, 20-minute therapeutic hand massage—a proven way to reduce anxiety, support sleep, relieve pain and tension, and enhance wellbeing.
Safeguarding & Reflective Practice
Safeguarding awareness, reflective practice, and practical guidance on introducing this approach within your organisation.

Re Life Impact
''The ambassador training day has brought so much more cohesion and meaningful connection to our staff... we listen with increased gentle presence as we offer the hand massages to our patients and to members of the staff who benefit enormously from the relaxation and ‘reset’ which this soothing connection offers. With this enhanced ability to provide evidence-based,
holistic care that significantly improves patient and staff experiences and outcomes in the work in the ITU has become an ever more enjoyable place to be.
We are proud to partner with A Touch of Gentleness and look forward to offering more staff the opportunity of attending this transformative day which increases connection and a sense of well-being in so many ways.”

Why This Matters
When we slow down enough to offer presence, gentleness and touch—we reconnect with the core of what it means to care.
There is nothing more supportive or healing than this.

The Bigger Picture

When you work with us, you're part of something wider.
To date we've partnered with over 70 organisations, charities and communities including care homes, prisons, refugees and those that are homeless.
We have also attended 100's of different local events.
All proceeds from this training day support our voluntary outreach and help bring compassionate connection, joy and feelings of peace back to the heart of society.
